Damian joined other Kent MPs in successfully persuading the Department for Transport that control of Kent’s routes should not go the Mayor of London, whose priorities would not include Ashford. He is also involved in measures to upgrade signalling at Ashford Station, to ensure that the next generation of international trains can stop there.
